Cabo San Lucas to host SCORE Baja 1000 vehicle exhibition on November 10
Ten off-road race vehicles will be on display downtown from 4 to 9 p.m., with traffic closures coordinated by municipal police.
Downtown Cabo San Lucas will host an exhibition of 10 SCORE Baja 1000 off-road vehicles on November 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. The race runs November 9 to 14, and the Los Cabos municipal government is coordinating the event with SCORE, including some street closures.
According to the municipality, the Municipal Government Directorate led a coordination meeting with emergency agencies and 10 downtown restaurants and entertainment venues taking part in the exhibition.
A race that starts and ends in Los Cabos
Municipal Government Director Antonio Avilés Pandor said: "Esta edición de la SCORE Baja Mil será particular, ya que la carrera iniciará y concluirá en Los Cabos" ("This edition of the SCORE Baja 1000 will be special, as the race will start and finish in Los Cabos").
Public Safety, Preventive Police, Municipal Traffic, the Red Cross and Civil Protection are involved in planning.
What to expect downtown
The municipality said access routes and some street closures were reviewed but did not specify which streets. If you live, work or run a business downtown, expect heavier traffic on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 10, and plan alternate routes or arrive before 4:00 p.m. Visitors are advised to walk or use public transit, as downtown parking fills quickly during large events.
Final closure details will be announced through official Los Cabos municipal channels.
